I’ve had a few FHs over the years and jumped back in an FH 540 recently. First thing I noticed is how easy it is to live with day to day. Those outside lockers plus the space under the bunk… you can actually keep your kit sorted instead of stacking stuff everywhere. Service access is straightforward too. Pop the grille and you’re right at fluids and checks, which I like when you’re doing quick walkarounds.

Only real gripe: if you’re picky about shift speed on hills, the standard box can feel a bit slow. You’d want the dual clutch option if you’re always in stop/start or steep country.
